Rooted Web adds Martin, Heeb to design team

Rooted Web, a local full-service website design and digital marketing agency, has expanded its website design and development team with the additions of Kristen Martin and Jacob Heeb.

Martin, a Desloge, Missouri, native, joins Rooted Web as UI/UX web designer. She has extensive experience working with marketing clients from project strategy through implementation, most recently as a graphic designer at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. She previously was the art director for The Wright Group, also in Cape Girardeau. Martin earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in graphic design and illustration from Southeast Missouri State University. Her work has been awarded multiple American Advertising Awards and she is a member of the Professional Association for Design, AIGA, and a previous president and board member for the local chapter of the American Advertising Federation. In her spare time, Martin enjoys good food and game nights with friends, live music, traveling and watching movies with her fiance and two cats, Mannie and Luna.

Heeb, a Chaffee native, joins Rooted Web as a junior web designer. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in digital art and graphic design from Southeast Missouri State University. As part of his studies, he worked with local nonprofit organizations and retail companies to create promotional, advertising and sales materials in support of brand goals. Several of his projects received student ADDY awards from the American Advertising Federation. Outside of work, Heeb is an avid learner with interest in railroads, history and art. For fun, he enjoys music and gaming. He is a member of St. Ambrose Parish in Chaffee.
